Hi there, this time i wanna share about my favorite sports, muaythai and brazillian jiu jitsu. It started on February 2014, i joined muaythai class near my sister home named "Lutador" mean warrior. Before joined to Lutador i tried to lost my weight on a gym but unfortunately i gained more weight that time i desperately wanna lost my weight.. so i quit from a gym and joined Lutador to learn muaythai.
After 3 months i lost 6kg from 56kg, i asked my trainer to teach me more about muaythai.. this time i don't wanna trained to lost my weight (not anymore , got stuck on 50kg) but my focus is to learn more about the technique so he tought me. On October 2016 i met a nice guy (my boyfriend) we met on Lutador. He trained brazillian jiu jitsu and i trained muaythai. That time i didn't like brazillian jiu jitsu because basically you get sweat and rolling on matt and I thought it's kinda disgusting.. (sorry) i didn't like it that time. So i dedicated my self trained muaythai about 15months.
Few months later, the situation changed and i got financial problem i stop my training. My body felt different after i didn't got trained, my mood went up and down, i easily got stressed. April 2016 i got offered by my boyfriend to trained brazillian jiu jitsu with him and his coach (Yuri Amadin) at kemang for free so i change my perception about brazillian jiu jitsu and i took the offer. On 11st September 2016 a brazillian jiu jitsu competition "Indonesian Submission Challenge" at Cilandak Town Square (Jakarta) was held and i joined the competition for the first time (I didn't win but it was FUN).
Until now i still train brazillian jiu jitsu. For me muaythai and brazillian jiu jitsu are very two different thing but two of that sport or any sport that you learn you need to dedicated yourself, stick to it. From my experience muaythai now days help you to lost your weight, the trainer isn't teach you the real muaythai technique unless you ask the trainer your purpose training muaythai. The real muaythai technique is harder, faster and detail on the techniques. It is something more than you think. For brazillian jiu jitsu you to learn technique so if you use your power when you are training , you are wrong, the real brazillian jiu jistu use techniques. Although my work out environment is dominated with man but i don't care because i think it improve my strength. Why i like muaythai and brazillian jiu jitsu ? Both muaythai and brazillian jiu jitsu help me to keep me healthy, balancing my mood, learn to protect my self (self defence) and i like to do it...
i love sport, thank you.
